first attempt at cheesecake


all i can say is that it taste deliiicciooouss!!! No offense to Secret recipe (and their current and former workers) but my cheesecake taste better and a lot cheaper too. :-)

Here's the instructions to make a simple lemon cheesecake:

1. Put an apron on. we don't want to get dirty, do we?
2. Now, put some music on... Not loud rock n roll, soothing jazz would do.
3. Okay, first of all, crush 8-10 digestive biscuits to powder form
4. Next, add in around 2 oz of butter and mix it with the biscuits to make the dough for the base.
5. press the dough into the bottom of a greased 9 inch Pie Dish.
6. Mix together a tin of condensed milk with a small (250g) packet of cream cheese (e.g. Kraft Philadelphia).
7. Whisk for one minute and squeeze in the juice of one lemon. Continue whisking for another 20 seconds.
8. Pour it in the pie dish.
9. Leave it in the fridge overnight to set.
10. Enjoy the delightful taste of a simple lemon cheesecake. ^_^

note: maybe a bit of gelatin or jelly is needed. The cake, whilst taste excellent, didn't quite set so well.
